Wool slippers for everyone are both a quirky addition and a dead serious testament to the company we want to be
When the Danish winter greets us with rain on the bike ride to the office, it’s nice to know that we can just hang the wet sock and step into a pair of wool slippers once we arrive.
Recently, everyone in the office has gotten their own pair of slippers. Instead of insisting on shirt-and-tie, the slippers are the only company uniform we’ve got. And it’s both practical and adds a homey vibe to the office.
Cosy wool slippers might not be the first thing that pops into your mind when you think of serious engineering or inventing. However, we’ve welcomed the slippers to our offices, and so far, all customers and partners who have seen us wearing them at work have approved of the idea.
The slippers do kind of the same thing as the yellow drum set in the middle of our office. It’s a great conversation starter and visitors just find it really cosy.
And in all honesty, it’s not just a gimmick, but a small yet serious part of the company we want to be. It adds to the casual working environment, and we need casual and homey to be able to think freely.
