Case study: Conhoist saved construction project over 1 million DKK

Now we can show in black and white that our crane system Conhoist is good for both the working environment and the bottom line.

Extra scaffolding needs to be erected, it needs to be clad with plastic, and the Conhoist hired.

Naturally, there are some extra costs involved in building with our crane system. However, our first completed case study very clearly shows that it is a very good business proposition nonetheless.

The case has unfolded over a year, during which a classic rectangular courtyard building in Copenhagen had its roof renovated – including the erection of new rafters.

By using Conhoist for the project, the client has benefited from savings on labour costs, moving of the cover and crane hire. It has also led to a faster construction process.

In kroner and øre, this has meant a saving of over 1 million kroner during the project.
We are, of course, very proud of this – just as we are very proud of the improvements to the working environment that the case has shown. These are significant figures that Conhoist has helped to move:

  • The workers saved 33 km of driving by using a wheelbarrow, with 245 tonnes of material to be moved.
  • 213 km on foot, where 305 tonnes of material had to be moved by hand.
  • 440 timers waiting time for scaffolders.
